I was born and raised in Seattle, and graduated from the University of Washington in 2011 with a Master’s Degree in Teaching and an ELL Endorsement. I am bilingual and biliterate in English and Vietnamese.

Teaching is my passion. I love interacting and spending time with each of my students and watching them grow throughout the school year. I strive to create a positive environment that will cater to each child's unique strengths. 

 

I have been a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher in the Highline School District for 11 years, and an instructional coach and a Multilingual Learner Facilitator for 2 years. I have also served as a youth leader for 1st-11th graders and a choir director for over 15 years.

In my spare time, I enjoy trying new recipes and restaurants, and playing board games and escape rooms with my family.
